We spent weeks researching fabrics that are soft and comfortable for our Teddy- and of course, keeps him cool.
This excellent fabric we're sourced is made of high quality imitation buckskin that is strong and guaranteed to last.
It feels soft and comfortable and will give your beloved canine companion a guaranteed skin- friendly cooling experience.
It's highly absorbent and is naturally antibacterial.

Please make sure the vest is always in wet condition when you have it on your doggie!!!
We measured the temperature difference on Teddy's head and under the vest.
It's unbelievable!!!
On his head he was 38 degrees
Under the cooling vest his body temperature went down to 18 degrees!!!
It makes such a difference!!!

How this fabric works
The ability of PVA towels to retain water makes them ideal for cooling products. The water in the fabric slowly evaporates giving a cooling effect.
This is ideal for cooling people and animals too, both for comfort and health reasons too, as it starts to cool in a few minutes and reduce temperature quickly without ice burns.
This fabric has a built in mesh which makes it durable. sometimes this mesh is slightly visible.
Thickness and colour can vary, that doesn't mean that the fabric is faulty!
Please make sure the vest is always in wet condition when you have it on your doggie!!!
Use it first time
You will receive this cooling vest in wet condition. Before use it first time please soak the vest in warm water for 5-10 minutes.
How to use it
Please soak the vest for a few minutes until the vest is fully soaked. Wring/ gently squeeze out any excess water and leave it to cool for 2-3 minutes.
Please make sure that you will not squeeze/ twist out all the water from the fabric as if there is no water left in the vest, there will be not cooling effect.
Also, if you leave too much water in it, it will take much longer for the water to evaporate, which means it will take much longer time to cool!
How to put it on
We made this very easy for you. You open the Velcro's on the vest, place it on the back of your dog and close the Velcro's on the front of the chest and under the chest.
Please make sure you press the Velcro's together when you close them.
When you take the vest off, please make sure that you hold the Velcro's, NOT THE FABRIC!, when you open those ( separate them).
What to do when vest stops cooling
Very simple. Just soak the vest in water again, squeeze gently, and it will start to cool your dog in a few minutes.
How to clean the vest
We recommend to always wash the vest by hand after each use. Most of the time you can just rinse off dirt/ sand from the vest this way.
If you decide to wash the vest in the washing machine please use a quick low temperature program and very gentle spin, no conditioner!
Do not tumble dry!
Do not bleach!
Always close Velcro before you place the item in the washing machine!
Store when you use the vest regularly
Best option to store this vest in damp condition. Squeeze ( do not twist the fabric) out most of the water, fold the vest and place it in a sealed bag. Make sure the bag is sealed properly. If its a small size, you will be able to place the sealed bag back in the plastic tube, which we will supply you with.
When you are ready to use it just soak it in water until its fully soaked, wring out excess water, wait 5 minutes and place it on your dog.
Store when you don't use it for longer time
In this case we recommend that you dry the vest fully.
When you cleaned the vest after the last use, please fold the vest for the preferred shape and size you are planning to store it and let it dry fully.
When the vest is fully dry, it will become hard. If you try to fold it more or unfold it in this condition, you will damage the fabric!
When you use it first time after store it dry, please soak it in warm water for 10 minutes. Please make sure is fully soaked before to try to unfold it in water. If the layers are still stuck together please soak it more.
