Don't worry, it's very easy!
Even if you never ever had a tape measure in your hand before.
Below you can see shortcuts to different section of the page where we explain everything by photos, instructions and video.
A; back measurement
B; around neck
C; around chest
D; around tummy
E; front leg length
F; back leg length (you can decide the leg's lengths, whatever length you would like)
H; distance between the back of the front leg, till the front of the back leg
G; distance between the front legs
i: around the back tight
Please choose the closest size based on back and chest measurement “A+C” to be able to check out.
We have only 3 sizes
Please chose the closest size to your dog's measurements.
Different prices applies to body warmers!
I asked someone who never hold a tapemesure in his life before to demonstrate how to take doggies measurement 😊
A: from the base of your neck to the tail
B: from the base of the neck around the middle of the chest
C: around the chest behind the front legs, where the chest is the deepest
D: around the neck where the collar seats usually
E; distance between the back of front leg and the front of the back leg
We also do made to measure cooling vests!
You only have to send us the measurements listed above, and we will make your dog the vest based on those measurements.
When you order a cooling vest you have an option " send measurements here", you have to type your dog measurements there like A;… B;… C;... D;... E;...
Please choose the closest size based on chest measurement “C” to be able to check out.
Please make sure the vest is always in wet condition when you have it on your doggie!!!
If the outfit is too large on the body the best way to pin it is next to the zip on the top. When you put it on your dog pull the jacket up where the zip is and pin the fabric together. Please make sure that you will not make it too tight.
Before you remove the jacket from your dog you will have to move the pins to one side only otherwise you will not be able to unzip the jacket.
There is always a seam on the lower part of the jacket.
You can pin next to the seam.
Jacket has to be fitted on the tummy as if you have a male dog, he can wee inside the jacket if is gaping to much.
You wouldn't want that :o
Most common.
In this case we will have to make a dart on both side as shown on photo. Please pin both sides.
The left hand side pin indicates the length of the dart.
If the outfit gaps too much, we will have to reposition the end of the zip to.
Very simple, pin it next to the seam as shown on photo.
Again, very easy, turn fabric up and pin the correct length.
If is too short please let us know how much to extend the length.
